About BSA Troop 3

BSA Troop 3 was chartered at Myers Park United Methodist Church in 1938. Troop 3 offers a girl's troop and a boy's troop. 

Our focus is on an active outdoor adventure program to instill Scouting values, teach leadership, and develop character. We go backpacking once a month plus summer trips and service projects.

We meet on Mondays at 7pm except generally the last Monday of the month which is only for scouts in leadership positions. Boys and girls age 12 (or in the 6th grade) through 18 are welcome to join and start their own Scouting adventure.
